We’re going to try to use this site as a great way to update family and friends on all things baby, as well as provide information and links for anyone who would like to peruse baby registry/gift ideas.
Baby Thiele is scheduled to make his/her debut on September 5, 2010. Any information regarding place of delivery or any other personal information can be obtained by emailing either one of us. We don’t want any crazies stalking us to the hospital. : )
Stay posted. April 5 is our next scheduled appointment and we are hoping to find out the gender of Baby Thiele. I catch myself calling the baby a myriad of things – it, he, she, baby, booger. It/He/She/Baby/Booger must be so confused. : ) We will most definitely be sharing that news with everyone when we know. But in order to keep the fun going, the name will be kept secret until It/He/She/Baby/Booger makes the big debut. Please know that incessant begging, pestering, bribing, and crying will not be tolerated and I will not be responsible for any reaction caused by pregnancy hormones. Consider yourselves warned. : )
Registry/Gift Information
Please note that this is my one shameless plug for baby registry information. I have always HATED asking people for things and feel like I’m already schoomzing as I sit here and write. But we know that there are so many people who love us, have waited for this baby, and want to be a part of this exciting time. We want to provide that opportunity.
Living in Chicago has provided us with the opportunity to physically go and see things that we are interested in purchasing for Baby T, rather than just guessing from photos online. We will post photos and links, as well as create a basic registry (probably at Target). However, some larger items are SO close to us, that it would be preposterous for someone to order them online AND pay for shipping. For example, we’re interested in some furniture from IKEA for the nursery. We literally live 7 minutes from one of these stores. And since their shipping costs are outrageous, we can easily pick it up. Dallas will be installing a PayPal system for just a few of these things for anyone interested in contributing. We would be more than happy to put up a photo of that gift in our home with our note of thanks.
