38 Weeks…Almost There
We’ve hit our 38 week mark. Baby should be here anytime – whenever she’s ready really. The nursery is finished (we’ll have to post pics) and I’m nesting as much as my body will allow.
We saw the doctor at 36 weeks and were told that things were “progressing.” Then last week at 37, they said no change. I kind of snapped mentally at that point, so it’s been a rough week. But Dallas has been a trooper and a saint and we’ve made it through. Our next appointment is Tuesday if she doesn’t make her appearance by then.
Family is very excited, as are we. I am looking forward to the help and support – I have no idea what I’m about to face, so I’m grateful to all of them in advance. Our lives are about to drastically change. It’s bittersweet. I am enjoying every moment Dallas and I have to ourselves, like our nice quiet breakfast out this morning. And I am excited to see what new wonderful memories we will have when Baby finally arrives.
